This advanced technology takes three dimensional applications already on today's market; such as PC games, 3D entertainment and professional stereo applications, and it allows users to experience their favorite 3D animation, movie or games in a way they never could with a standard two-dimensional ("2D") monitor. iZ3D is designed to replace standard two-dimensional monitors while maintaining commercial image quality and display brightness.
The passive display from iZ3D supports long-time viewing without causing fatigue or eyestrain due to the use of polarised glasses that can easily be mistaken for a standard set of sun glasses.
The LCD monitor features two channels of inputs with one channel catering for both DVI and VGA connector inputs. This flexibility alllows for the monitor to be used in 2D and 3D applications. The screens ship with a dual set of glasses allowing even those with optical glasses to take advantage via the clip on glasses. The appearance of both look like standard sunglasses.
The iZ3D monitor now allows 100's of existing computer games sold world-wide to be displayed in true 3D due to the already built-in 3D visual coding. iZ3D has evaluated over 70 exisitng games that deleiver the 3D experience, though we expect 300-400 games already had the depth visual cues to enable 3D viewing on the screen. The dual layered display can be used in any software application as the real processing drivers enhance the display. No particular coding is required, as what is important is that the content has visual cues that enable foreground, middle ground and background. Many standard photos taken with a digital camera will appear in 3D depending on the subject matter and arrangement of scenes.
The dual layered sandwiched screens deliver a dual image where the left eye is only able to see the front LCD screen and the right eye is able to view the rear LCD screen.
The screen is ideal for medical, architecture, product viewing, design conceptulisation, military, training and numerous applications where enhanced viewing is crucial for the viewer experience.
